Our tallow is sourced from Fed From The Farm - a regenerative farm right here in Missouri with a mission to "heal and restore the vitality of the land and nourish the families who eat of its bounty". Located just 40 miles from us, we drive to pick up our tallow directly. Cows graze in lush, tall, green grass their whole lives. No vaccines. No hormones. No antibiotics. And NO grain.
The Final Result
Sourcing our tallow from Fed From The Farm's 100% grass fed and grass finished beef suet results in a tallow with an incredibly rich nutritional profile. Grass-finished tallow yields much higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids known for their anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, skin-loving, fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K2 are readily available and soak easily into the skin.
