What is beef suet?

Suet is the fat around the kidneys - prized for its firm texture, exceptional cleanliness, and high levels of omega-3 fatty acids.

Is all "grass-fed" tallow the same?

Certainly not. Many brands labeled "grass-fed" are consuming a considerable amount of grain. This causes an unnatural ratio of omega-6 fatty acids to omega-3 fatty acids and a decrease in fat-soluble vitamins and conjugated linoleic acids.

Our 100% grass-fed and grass-finished tallow sourced from a local regenerative farm has a natural, more beneficial ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids while also being substantially higher in vitamins and CLA (which is known for anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidants, and skin barrier protection).

Am I getting what I'm paying for?

Many whipped tallow brands are sold by the size of the jar. Our whipped tallow is always sold by "net weight". Meaning you're getting the most bang for your buck and exactly what you pay for.

Is tallow good for all skin types?

In our experience, yes! We've personally seen and research shows tallow to be beneficial both for dry and oily skin, as well as skin conditions like eczema, severely dry skin, psoriasis, and contact dermatitis. To see if tallow is the perfect product for your skin, patch test first and always start with a pea sized amount. A little goes a long way.
